Series One Residue
Abandoned manufacturing sites along the northeastern corridor — places where labor once defined time. What remains is not ruin but residue: the faint impressions of repetition, of bodies and machines in their daily rhythm. I spent three years returning to the same sites at different light, waiting for the structure itself to speak.

Series Two Thresholds
A portrait is not a likeness. It is the space between what someone shows and what they cannot hide. Over two years, I photographed thirty-four individuals at the exact moment they stopped performing — the pause between poses, between words, between versions of themselves. These are images of thresholds.

Series Three Still Life After
Domestic objects photographed after their owner’s death. A chair. A cup. A window with the curtains slightly open. The series is a meditation on how things absorb presence — and how they continue, indifferent, once that presence is gone. Shot entirely in natural light, no manipulation.

Churches, mosques, synagogues — not for their faith but for their light. Architecture designed specifically to shape and direct sunlight as a material for human experience. Photographed only in the hour before the space opened to the public, when the light moved but no one was there to receive it. The series asks: what does light do when there is no one to witness it?
Series Five
Cartography
of Loss
Portraits of people photographed in the place they most associate with grief. Not gravesites. Not hospitals. But the supermarket where they first heard the news. The road they drove without knowing it would be the last time. Places that now hold a different shape. This series is ongoing — I am still collecting coordinates.
